I have to wonder about the classic scene where Gomer places Barney under citizen's arrest. I know Jim Nabors and Don Knotts routinely cracked each other up, plus Gomer told Barney to run up an alley and holler fish, and Barney called Gomer a boob--twice--making me think they must've lost it several times. I'm surprised everyone wasn't rolling all over the street when Gomer kept repeating the word "boob" angrily in that accent of his.
