Yep, it's reminiscent of the poll we discussed here a while back where "votes" indicated the best TV show of all times is "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Yeah, right. I teach a research class and I go to great lengths to tell (and show) my students how call-in, self-selected polls like this are worse than useless.
Don Good (ugly, but not stupid) ----------------- It's an outrage, that's what it is, an outrage! A couple weeks ago I saw a TV special entitled "50 Cutest Child Stars -- All Grown Up" (or something like that). I figured, OK, Ronny Howard had to be in the mix somewhere, so I watched the whole thing. I don't know what geniuses picked the top 50, but not only did they omit Ronny completely, but many of the actors in their list became famous in just the last year or two, and they are still kids, not "all grown up" as the title indicated. The worst offense of all was who they chose for the number one "cutest child star": the three ADULTS who provide the voices for the kids on The Simpsons.
