Could someone please clear up the issue of the using Mr. in reference to someone?
Oh, I can see Mr. O'Malley, and even Mr. Sawyer, (even though he referred to the sheriff as 'Andy'. Of course we can't forget Mr. Shwump. But Mr. Caldwell? And Barney was so impressed that Mr. Caldwell referred to him as Barney! And what about Mr. Bass? None so it makes sense.
