...he should of did...? Do they say that in Oregon? That's how we talk down
here
in North Florida. Do the good people of Mayberry use that figure of speech? If
they do, it never stood out to me, maybe because it IS my native tongue.
We also say "I might could" a lot. Like, "Can you help me with this?"
"I might could."
That's one of things I like about TAGS, a lot of the expressions and figures of
speech.
I just love studyin' figures of speech.
