It shore was good to hear from the Mayberry Deppity Shurf, David Browning again. We first met David at the opening of a Cracker Barrel in Clayton NC way back yonder in 96, I believe, and he gave us the info on Mayberry Days. We have been going ever since!! Have not missed a year!! I wonder though, with him sittin' at his 'puter to write such a long note, who is doing bullet maintenance for him? And to call Allen a genius, now, that may be a'gettin' his head all swole up to where his glasses are going to pop right off his head!! Seriously, folks, if there were any two nicer people working Mayberry I don't know who they might be. But then, that is the Mayberry spirit being shown through 2 ordinary people who love what they do! That goes for all the tribute artists as well. Phil Lee, Ernest T, used to come in the store where I worked and he would always say something in his Ernest T voice and crack up the employees!! What at ace of a guy! Thanks to all of you who work so hard to make the rest of us laugh and forget, even if for just a little while, the cares of the world!! Looking forward to seeing each of you at Mayberry Days in just 4 weeks!!! Wheeeeeeeeee!!! Someone remind me to go to the internet group photo shoot this year!! When you get old, you start forgetting things!! Welford the CameraNutttttt!!
