At the place where I work we have a break room with a pop machine and fridge. People often bring a snack or lunch with them. Recently, some items had come up missing....either someone mistakenly ate someone else's snack...or maybe not so mistakenly.....but anyway it was causing a bit of a stir. Then one day last week, a fellow worker mistakenly grabbed the wrong paper back and made off with someone's entire lunch! Not opening, it he went home thinking it was something else. This sent the place into a tizzy....who could it be? How is this food disappearing? Who would do such a thing? Who would take someone's lunch? I couldn't help it! I said: "You know what I think it is? I think its a fox. Yeah a fox. Come down out of the hills. You know we've had this dry spell. They come down out of the hills for food and water....that's what it is a hungry fox foraging around." Fellow Mayberrian and poster to this digest, Dave, turned to me and said, "A fox huh? Will you answer me one thing? How could a fox open a refrigerator door?" We had a big laugh. Its good to laugh. Its good to live in Mayberry.
