I suppose they do it for more commercial time. Oul local DJ, Ernie, says it is ironic, you are paying for these channels, and they still need commercials for income. I don't care, I guess, my work schedule keeps me from TV Land at that time (milking cows) so since I have all the seasons on DVD, I don't miss a thing. Plus the added features in the later series.
