The Man in a Hurry scene with Gomer has also bothered me. Another one is in Goober Takes a Car Apart. When the other sheriffs show up and assume the car in the courthouse is a safety demonstration, Andy tells Goober to leave it there. As soon as the sheriffs leave, Andy holds a gun on Goober and tells him to take it apart immediately. Now why would Andy hold a gun on poor old Goob? It was Gilly Walker's fault. All he does is speed, speed, speed.
