As I noted a few weeks ago, our local zoo was getting 2 new giraffes. One arrived about 10 days ago and the other just this week. Youngters standing about 6 ft tall. They are in quarantine for a bit to make sure everything is all right before they are allowed out into their new habitat. The fact that they're here is a pretty closely guarded secret (at least until I posted this).
