I'm guessing you didn't grow up in a small southern town. I ranged pretty far and wide with my sandwich (it was a 6-decker mayo sandwich) as a pre-schooler. Later I rode my bike to school in the first grade and left school at lunchtime to go downtown and get my sandwich.
