I read the following on the Mayberry's Finest (food products) website.
"Andy Griffith's father, Carl Griffith, appears in "The Farmer Takes a
Wife," an episode in the show's second season. He can be seen coming out of
Carroll's store carrying a package under his arm as Andy Taylor and Jeff
Pruitt are about to enter the store."
Can anyone verify this? Not that I doubt the information, (well maybe I am
a little) but I've not seen nor heard this before! Not meanin' no
disrespect, just curious....curious.
