'The Tennessee Ernie Ford Special' originally aired on Sunday, December 3, 1967 from 9-10 EST. It featured Andy Griffith, Danny Thomas, The Dillards, Diana Ross and the Supremes, and Goldie Hawn, briefly. Goldie, at the time, appeared on the sitcom 'Good Morning, World' starring Ronnie Schell. In his comedy monologue, Schell makes mention of working on 'Gomer Pyle USMC' for three seasons, one season of 'Good Morning, World', then, back to 'Gomer Pyle USMC.'
