Today I watched part of an old Jerry Lewis film called Ladies Man and one of the sound technicians was portrayed by Mayberry's mailman; I believe his name was Doodles Weaver? Let me wish everyone a wonderful Independence Day celebration next week; wouldn't it be great to be in Mayberry listening to the town band play patriotic music in the bandstand (spiders and all!)?
