I recall Andy mentioning Goldie Hawn during a tribute to Tennessee Ernie Ford in the early 1990's. As I recall, Andy was hosting a variety special on which Ernie was a guest. He mentioned that one of the dancers was wearing old ratty sneakers, and Ernie bought her a new pair of shoes. He then mentioned that the girl was Goldie Hawn.
