My family and I were lucky enough to meet several of the cast of TAGS...some
of them three different times. Otis, all the Darlings, Barney, Goober,
Earnest T, Rafe Hollister and Thelma Lou were all so kind. We got to see Don
and Thelma Lou twice and shake hands and do the photo thing.
I was the poster who commented on getting Aunt B's autograph right before
she passed away. She was pretty much a recluse by then. I am really proud of
that autograph. "I'm so proud."
One thing I noticed right away was that you didn't get that "Hollywood"
feeling from any of them. They were ALL so down to earth and friendly.
Thelma Lou just about talked my daughter's ears off...well...my daughter did
her share too. I even got a hug from Thel! I got to brag about that because
when my son in law met Earnest T, old Earnest planted a smooch right on his
cheek! lol
