Hi there Mayberrians! Since I have really been watching TAGS, I am becoming better aquanited with the characters. I am finding that each of them are special in their own ways. We always hear talk of Andy and Barney, but I would like to know more about Aunt Bee. Did anyone ever meet her or see her in person, or did you ever get an autographed picture, etc? Let me know what the experience was like. I recalled that someone mentioned that they got an autographed photo or a message just before Ms. Bavier passed away. I think it was said that she passed away from heart failure in 1989--the same year my son was born. I am not sure if she ever married or if she ever had any children. Her accent was so different from everyone else's, so I thought she may have been from England. She certainly was a wonderful actress.
