I started uploading some of my video collection to YouTube this weekend so I can share them with everybody. I created The Mayberry Channel ( http://www.youtube.com/user/mayberrycom ) there on YouTube and I'm trying to make an entire channel of things there related to the Mayberry events I've attended over the years. I did the open credits last night (a reenactment of them mind you with me and my son...some of you may have seen that one).
I've upload Count Istvan Teleky. Filmed at Col. Tim's Talent Time during Mayberry Days 2003 in Mt. Airy, NC. Tribute artists for Goober (Tim Pettigrew), Barney (David Browning) and Floyd (Allan Newsome) reenact a scene from 'Three Wishes for Opie' on stage. (/video by WBMUTBB member Robbie Curlee/) From Mayberry Days 2006 you'll find "Meet Gomer's Cousin Goober" with the same bunch as above but will a special..silent guest walking through the scene. From 1995 you'll find clips from Mayberry Days with Doug Dillard and from The Mayberry Squad Car Rendezvous "Mountain Wedding" with Maggie singing. I *plan* to upload more but as of this writing there are 6 videos there for you to enjoy. It works great with high bandwidth Internet connections but I honestly don't know how well it'll work for dial-up users.
