Here is the story. Jim Nabors won't be "back home again" in Indiana this weekend. (Curt Cavin, Indianapolis Star) For only the seventh time since 1972, Nabors won't sing "(Back Home Again in) Indiana" before the Indianapolis 500. An illness is forcing him to miss Sunday's race. A video of Nabors addressing the crowd will be shown on video boards at the Speedway. In the video, shot from Hawaii where he lives, Nabors will ask the expected gathering of 250,000-plus to sing the song together in his stead.
