Well just imagine my surprise when I saw it with my eyes. Surprise Surprise Surprise
On the Front page of the Indianapolis Star, there are pictures and a feature story on our own Jim Nabors. http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070519/SPORTS0101/7 05190447 http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/frontpage Yes, the Mayberry crooner is back. He's famous for a tinny rendition of the Marine's Hymn, he's flawless in Santa Lucia, but in the Hoosier state, there is nothing bigger that Jim Nabors singing "Back Home Again in Indiana" at the beginning of the Indianapolis 500. I mean 300.000 in the audience, and millions nation-wide watching on TV, I think maybe its even a step above the County Insecticide Convention. What a treat (this is gonna to be fun) What a real treat to see Jim. I hope he doesn't get as sick as a dog, because I know he'll be having the time of his life. The article is right. He is truly loved and brings tears to the eyes of race fans.
