I think just about everyone knows that Ronny's daughter Bryce appears in 'Spiderman 3.' There is a reference to "The Spider-Man" in 'Goober the Executive' (12/25/1967). Opie wants to trade comics with Goober. He says "I brought you 'The Space Phantom' and 'The Spider-Man.' What do you want to trade?" When this episode originally aired, Spiderman had existed in the comics since August 1962. The comic 'The Amazing Spider-Man' debuted in March 1963. It all started with a bite and ended with a kiss.
