I've noticed in the class reunion episode the banner reads "Class of 1945". Andy in earlier episodes mentions being in Paris during the war (He says it is a good smelling country, or something to that effect)...In the "Quiet Sam" eposide Barney says he did his part to defeat the dreaded Hun. So how old were they when they served in the military? On the other hand, I think the writers gave the audience credit for knowing this was essentially just a story and not every single detail would line up. Still, I think it is by far the best show to ever air on television.
