>>Hey fellow Mayberrians, While watching "The Merchant of Mayberry" the other day, I noticed something I had never seen before. It happened at the end of the show when Opie opened his lemonade stand. Opie rolls up his sleeve and puts his whole arm down in the pitcher to grad something. I had to rewind to see if I actually saw him do it and sure enough, he did it. Wonder how many people on the set drank that lemonade? TAGS can just take us all away to another time, another place. I LOVE IT!!!!!! Cheri << ```````````````````````` I also noticed that and thought, "ICK!!" I also think it's a shame that TVLand cuts out the very first scene in that lovely episode. For those who haven't seen it, it starts with Barney snoozing on the bench in front of the market. Andy and Aunt Bee arrive and Bee goes in to do her marketing. Before she goes in, Andy asks her if she has a lipstick with her. She is puzzled, but gives it to him anyway. Andy then breaks off a small piece of the lipstick and puts it on our slumbering Barney's fingers. He then tickles his face with a piece of straw or something, causing Barney to scratch at his face---which makes the lipstick go all over his kisser! Then Joe Waters (?) drives up, sees Barney and makes "kissy" noises at him. Barney is perplexed, but then figures out what Andy's been up to. :o) ~~Me in Mayberry, SD.
