This is my first time replying to wbmutbb. Up until now, i have just been a "lurker" and have enjoyed seeing what all people have to say. My husband is a huge fans of TAGS and I started watching it throughout our courtship. Back then, occassionally you could find a video tape at the library with a few episodes on it. On Superbowl Sunday TBS would show 24 hours of it which we had taped one year and still watch those tapes sometimes even though we have all but the last season on DVD now. I was gonna comment on some of the favorite shows list. One that I love is the Mr. McBeeVee story. That is probably my favorite. Does anyone know why there was only one Christmas show? The one that was made was wonderful. The Haunted House one is a great one too that my son especially enjoys. One of my favorite lines out of the show is from the episode where the freezer breaks down and Aunt Bee is scolding Opie for running around shirtless, "like a naked savage." haha. I have visited Mt. Airy 3 times and the downtime reminds me of my own home town, downtown Staunton. We plan to come to Mayberry Days this year, have reservations already. One scene in the show that reminds me of myself with my hubby, is when Andy is talking and there's an arm around his waist/chest rubbing him. It's Charlene Darling. I love the line where she says something like, "aw Paw, can't I just look at the pretty man?" Have a great Day! Charlene in VA
