Watching Gunsmoke yesterday was kind of like watching The Andy Griffith Show!! Who was the first one I saw? Brisco Darling. Second, there was Dud Wash. Then Goober. Then...can't remember what character he played...Dub Taylor. All they needed was Barney to show up as a deputy US Marshal and the show would have been complete! All this in just one episode! What was funny, Dud and Goober and one other guy were fighting Festus who had supposedly been bitten by a rabid dog, but it turns out it was not rabid! While they were fighting him, Festus bites 2 of them and the other one bloodies his knuckles, and Brisco, who was the doctor, came out and told them all what was going to happen if they didn't get to Kansas City real fast for treatments, so they took off and the town gave Festus $300 for running them out of town!! One of the more hilarious Gunsmokes! Y'all hang on a little longer...Mayberry Days are coming!!
