Over the weekend my six year old son came up to me and said, "Dad why don't you like Barney? I had just enjoyed watching an episode of Andy Griffith when he asked and I was confused. I said, "Son you know I love Barney and all the characters on the Andy Griffith show." We went back and forth for a couple of minutes with him saying, "Daddy you said you didn't like Barney" and me denying it. Then my four year old girl joined in and said, "Why don't you like dinosaurs?" It was only then that I realized it was Barney the dinosaur he was talking about of which is one of my least favorite children's programs. I love Barney Fife and don't let my six year old tell you different!
