For quite awhile now the shows are ending ( or at least some of them ), at ten minutes past scheduled time. As long as this has been going on, you would think they could get everything on schedule. If they are doing it on purpose I sure don't like it. Matter of fact....I'm tensed! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The reason for the fast play of episodes as explained by TvLand TheLink is that there are several episodes that have been skipped over because of marathons and schedule changes and they need to make these airings up. As for the late airings being off the clock, well, when they removed TAGS and repalced it with Cosby and Murphy Brown the ratings drop was too much for the sponsers to accept so instead of refunding the sponsers and losing them, they add extra time in the late evenings. This is expected to end in late march. The next cycle of shows should be beginning in late April or May and we are awaiting word on if it will be a complete cycle or not.
