I know that Don left the show because of a misunderstanding about the contract and a chance to go into movies. What is strange to me is when he did come back to visit Mayberry it was liike it wasn't that close to Thel after all. As close as they had been, I just don't think of him being that way. I know he was just playing the part written for him, but still.....
Today I saw my least fav episode of TAGS..and the one that Betty L really doesn't like. The class reunion where Thel comes back and crushes Barney when he finds out she's married. That show just did NOT work for TAGS. And to make Barney fall for that little flirty bimbo at the end of the show just made it worse.
