I like Ken's classic story about the consequences of either preserving the tree or removing the tree. But for all intents and TAGS purposes, they probably removed that oak tree when they razed the Forty Acres lot in 1977. They paved paradise and put up a parking lot, office buildings, and condos. But if you stand in any one spot and look up, that view looks the same.
