One reason I like the black & white episodes is I can use my imagination wondering what color dresses the ladies are wearing. What color hair they have. When I actually saw the color of the walls in Andy's dining/living room they weren't like I imagined them at all. I'm from the radio era. My imagination took off as I listened to Jack Benny walk across his basement mote to his money vault and hear the squeeking hinges. One program scared the daylights out of me. I think it was called Only The Shadow Knows. All I can remember now is hearing footsteps walking down a very long hallway. Sometimes my oldest brother would be our babysitter and he got so mad at me when I begged him to turn it off. He kept telling me to shut up because he couldn't hear the program over my protests :-)))) Shy Mary Grace
