I saw an episode over the weekend where Golf was mentioned (in another episode besides those mentioned a few days ago). When Howard was to run against Aunt Bee, some of the men were in the Barbershop talking I believe. Andy came up with the idea of Howard Sprague running for City Council. I believe Floyd listed as an attribute "He Plays Golf!"
I was beginning to wonder if there was a connection between Nice Dress Nellie and Mr. Schwamp because of their join appearances...but I saw her with another familiar face in "The Luck Of Newton Monroe". She appears with Tom Jacobs--as a couple contemplating buying something from Newton (Chop Suey bowls). So, could she, like Tom Jacobs, have a connection with Danny Thomas?? (Jacobs was a half-brother) By the way for anyone who doesn't know who these two are, there is a good look at them in this episode. (156) Like some of you have mentioned I got Season 8 for Christmas. I have them all now. Life is indeed good. (I collected most of them as gifts) For all those years I recorded and inventoried episodes on VHS tape, it feels great to have them all, complete, and in an easy way to watch whichever one I want. Now I can really work on being a Trained Noticer.
