I brought this up a few months ago. Yes, the Taylors pretty much act out in season six the story that Barney told back in season one! I thought this was interesting, and I wonder who had the idea to do that. I haven't checked on who wrote both episodes, but I'd be surprised if the same writers penned both stories five years apart. But someone must have remembered that scene from season one and decided it would be a kind of inside joke to have the Taylors act out the story while they are in Hollywood. Does anyone know?
