   Dear Friends,
When last we heard of it, the noble albatross was being used by Barney
to describe Goober dating Lydia:
"There he'll come, dragging that albatross behind him."
Today we learn that this mighty bird can be used to help monitor the world's
climate.
Lydia ain't surprised. She never once worried about being compared to
the albatross. She don't mind the albatross; it's the vulture she hates and the
raven;
the albatross she don't mind. But she hates the vulture.

  Hey Laura Lee & All,
There is also a golf term for "Albatross" it means a double eagle, or
(3-under par) on any one hole. Three under Par is a very rare score and an
Albatross is a very rare bird, and so three under Par is generally referred to
an "Albatross" However the term "albatross" is more commonly used in the
U.K...(that's just across from "Ole Man Kelsey's Ocean")
Not too many references to golf on TAGS that I can recollect, other than the
Esquire club ep when Barney suggested to the fellas that a high score was a
good thing. Does anyone else recall any other references to golf on the show?
Also I was wondering if the dime store stocks any golf related items?
Oh and Lydia this is for you...I don't mind scoring an Albatross when playing
golf it's the bogey I hate, I don't mind the albatross a-tall.
