According to Diane, those of us who sometimes would rather see a bat should 
head over to the Congaree National Park.

For those of us raised in SC, that used to just be a big swamp to us.  In 
fact, the web site is nps.gov/cosw where the "cosw" would be Congaree Swamp. 
But I think we have a precedent about all this.  Remember the Robert E. Lee 
Bridge started out as a tree that fell across the creek.  Likewise, our 
National Park started out as a swamp.

My memory might be fading (most of the rest of me is) a bit, but I seem to 
remember that it was one time called Ol' Man Kelsey's Swamp.
