Over the weekend, a story broke about the 18 to 34 demographic and its 
important to TV execs...and a TV Land study that suggests the idea behind it is 
highly overrated.

"Nearly two-thirds of Americans say they believe that most TV programming and 
advertising is targeted toward people under 40, the survey said. More than 80 
percent of adults over 40 say they have a hard time finding TV shows that 
reflect their lives."

Why am I bringing this up here?  Because this comes just after TV Land 
dropped "The Andy Griffith Show" from its prime time lineup...then brought it 
back 
after a fan uproar.  I have to believe there's a connection.
