Love the show, love the digest. Read/watch everyday but this is my first post. Thought this was kinda funny. I haven't seen all the color episodes so I've been watching them the past few weeks on TVLand. I don't remember which episode it was but I think it might have been the one where the organ needs replacing and Clara goes with Andy to see a new one to buy. There were alot of church singing scenes in that one, and one song in particular I couldn't quite make out. Keep in mind, even though I live in the South, I'm a Yankee by birth and grew up Catholic, so none of the hymns from the show are familliar to me. So I'm watching the show and I can't quite make out the words. I tivo'd back a few times and watched again but I still wasn't sure. It was a catchy little tune, but I didn't understand why they would be singing about cheese in church. So I asked my husband if he'd ever heard the song "Bringing in the Cheese". Obviously he got a huge laugh and corrected me, and I thought I'd share it with my Mayberry friends. (And the funny thing is, I catch myself walking around the house singing "Bringing in the Cheese" all the time now....)
