Just heard Parley Baer on an episode of "This is your FBI", an old time radio show. He played a Location scout for a movie studio and gets hijacked by robbers while scouting a ghost town for a movie set. Bea Benadaret was his co-star and while I can't find a TAGs connection for her, She was the owner of the Shady Rest Hotel near Hooterville on the show Petticote Junction. I also just found out that she was the original voice of Granny from the Tweety and Sylvester Warner Brother cartoons. June Foray (already famous for her roles on the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons and her stint with Daws Butler [Famous for more cartoon characters than I can count but Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound are among two of them. I never knew he was the voice of Captain Crunch tho until today] on the Stan Freberg show) then took over the voice of Granny after Bea died in 1968. We all know that Sam Drucker (or at least the character who played him, Frank Cady) from Hooterville spent some time with Otis in the Mt Pilot jail.
