Hey to all our friends that stay at the Hampton Inn, you all know if you have made your reservations for next year you were told that your credit card would be charged at the time you made your reservations, even though MD 2007 is 11 1/2 months away. Well, I called the Hilton customer service and complained, I think this is a little crazy, we love staying there but...I don't want to be charged a year in advanced as probably a lot of you don't. To make a long story short they are changing this policy, this was to be the first year for them to do this. Cindy & Trudy called me today and they asked that I send this out on the digest so everyone would know. We will be getting a letter from the Hampton stating that they are going to issue a credit back to everyone's credit card for the amount they have charged for our rooms. Hope this will make everyone fell better. I was told they had several people to cancel due to this new policy that they were going to try and do and they must have had a change of heart and nipped it before a lot of folks canceled. So if you stay at the Hampton you can make your reservations without being actually charged for it now. See what one phone call will do!!! Take care, Kathy Taylor Decatur, AL
