Thanks for all the response`s on Allan Melvin. Sorry I spelled Allan with a "e" Harriet, I will try harder next time. To me the biggest reason I come to this site is so I can interact with other Andy lovers and learn more about our show. Going to a book or website seem`s like cheating to me, my son and I like to watch and learn on my own and most of the time were right but not alway`s. Here`s another observation I found a couple of days ago.... Jim Lyndsey.....Hope I spelled that right Harriet........joined Bobby Fleet and his Band with a Beat in 2 episodes, Then Freddy Fleet and his band with a beat helped Andy and the boy`s convince Mayor Stoner to show them the money so they could go to the town band show at the capital..Also Freddy played at some town dances, Does anyone know if they were Brother`s...cousin`s or the reason for the change, or is this truly a Mayberry Mystery
