One of Leo Gordon's (Luke Comstock) more famous roles was in the John Wayne classic, "McLintock". He played the pilgrim at the clay mines who was the recipient of the great Duke line, "I'm not gonna hit ya, I'm not gonna hit ya. The H*** I'm not.' And the brawl began, including Mayberry alum Edgar Buchanan (Goldbrick Wheeler, The Handyman).
