Our Friend, Early Gilley, of Pilot Mountain NC, has passed away of natural
causes at the age of 84. His family was at his side. Our thoughts and prayers
are with the Gilleys at this difficult time. We are reassured by the fact that
Early will never be forgotten, as he is mentioned in TAGS in a few episodes.
Yes, There really was an Early Gilley, Gilley's Automotive is still open, just
up the road from us, but we'll sure miss Early's "Have a cup of coffee" when we
go in for parts.
