Barn once told Juanita he was taking her to the drive-in at Mt. Pilot; remember, Mt. Pilot was bigger than Mayberry. The nearest one to Orlando is in Lakeland, about an hour away but my beloved used to take me there occasionally. There is a brand new one in my Daddy's tiny hometown, Ennis, just south of Dallas. I'd love to see a comeback too but it's so hot here they'd probably do very little business for half the year. When we were stationed in RI the drive-ins, both movies and restaurants, were closed in the winter!
