To reply to all the Glenn Ford posts, yes there really was a movie titled, "G-Men".
It was made in 1935. Glenn Ford was not in the movie, James Cagney was the lead actor. However, there is a Mayberry connection and maybe this had something to do with why the writers of that script mentioned it. Mary Treen who appeared in three TAGS episodes had a bit part in "G-Men". Mary, who passed away in 1989 was in, - Those Gossipin' Men (1961) as .... Clara Lindsey - Ellie for Council (1960) as .... Sam's Wife - The New Housekeeper (1960) as .... Rose Mary also went on to appear in one episode of Gomer Pyle and once in Happy Days.
