Greetings, Boy howdy I'll sure do my research next time before I run off at the mouth about an "odd fact known by" Andy Griffith Show fans! Again, I am sorry and a bit upset at myself for not remembering that great episode.
Here is my excuse ... It is political season (& I have a license) and I produce lots of political TV ads, so I have been a bit busy. Nothing like the controversy was when someone ran a "hot" water line to the drinking fountain, but close. I am actually glad to know that we can help each other out with the details and have fun doing it! Thanks to all who straightened me out. TAGS Tags - Also, to Paul Mulik. You wrote - "... the ability to check and see how many of the 50 states have issued a real license plate with JL-327?..." Most or maybe all states offer customized plates, and most are on the web. You would probably have to check each state to see if someone has that tag. I have it for Florida, & here is a funny story about that. Someone who was a casual friend of mine here works for the Tax Collector which is where you get car tags in Florida. He came up to me one day and said, "I didn't know you are a big Andy Griffith Show fan." I said, "How did you know that?" He mentioned that out of all the millions of car tags in Florida, not only is it taken, but by someone right here in my hometown that I know! We are now much better friends! I asked him to be a judge at our "Aunt Bee's Pickle Contest" at our county fair! He wore his Andy Griffith Show tie and the contest was a big hit with lots of newspaper coverage! Make's ya think!
