Seeing I am in the process of having a book published I decided to watch "Helen the Authoress" last night. I must admit I am going through some of the same anxieties Helen experienced. There are so many things to do and think about, I find most of my time is spent on my book and I am not having time for my wife. Very similar to Helen and Andy. However, my wife is very understanding, so I don't think things will get nearly as bad as they did for Andy and Helen.
I would like to mention to any of you who may be considering doing a book, that we have an excellent person among us could help you greatly. When I decided to go with Westview Publishing, I requested to have Kathryn Darden be my author representative. In case you have forgotten, Kathryn put together the delightful book "A Tribute to Mayberry". I have a number of poems in her book. Kathryn will be having two Book Signings at Mayberry Days of Friday, September 22 and Saturday, September 24 at Page's Book Store.
