Lydia here, Firstly, I used the wrong "their" in the subject line of my last post. It should have been "they're nice." Heck, I probably made a lot more mistakes, but just sending that post in, I happened to notice that particular spelling error. Secondly, in the Gold Truck episode, me and Laura Lee Hobbs (it's her favorite) have always noticed Barney's pants getting wet with the gasoline hose and then appearing dry a few seconds later. I doubt gas dries this much faster than water! But we just always assumed Barney canceled his date with Thelma Lou more because he wanted to impress her with the big and important news he had going on than the timeline really required him to do. I mean, that's just our opinion of this situation. He probably didn't really have to break his date. He just like calling her up and making big talk. You know our Barney.
