Today whilst watching the Gold Truck, I noticed a few things. Barney calls to cancel his date because the gold truck is coming though. Andy had said that the truck would be in Mayberry at 4:30 and the drivers would stop for supper. Unless they had a REALLY long supper, why would Barney have to cancel his date? Old Barn must have been early to bed!
It was raining when the Gold Truck came into town and then a few minutes later in another outside scene, the sun was shining.( Of course the shower could have passed over.). Then I noticed that in the scene where Gomer poured gasoline into the gun port, Barney's pants and shoes and the floor of the truck were soaked. In the next scene showing Barney inside the truck, his pants are dry and crisp and there is no sign of the floor being wet. I guess there was some time taken between these two scenes. "Ain't you got a jack?"
