Last night on Discovery Channel there was one of those crime shows - "48" I think - where they try to solve a murder in the first 48 hours because it is the critical time for collecting evidence etc. During one of the sessions in the squad room they interviewed one of the detectives. On the wall behind him was the famous picture of our beloved Barn loading his bullet! Even now they respect his crime solving ability...
