This may have been discussed in here but i am curious as to why the original episodes were filmed in black and white in 1960. I believe the technology was there in 1960 to film in color wasn't it? I may be wrong about this but wasn't Bonanza filmed in 1960 in color. I know the Wizard of Oz filmed in '39 was partially in color. Just wondering as my daughter and I are watching the Wizard of Oz for about the 100th time.Thanks
