I noticed something today for the first time while watching "Opie's Charity". When Opie is throwing the ball to Andy in the opening scene, there is the 1955 or 1956 white and black convertible parked right behind Opie. When Opie throws the ball to Andy, the same car is driving down the street behind Andy. Then when we see Opie within a few seconds, the convertible is back behind Opie. Whoever drove that car was one fast driver. Good thing Barney was not on duty. It looked just like the car Melissa was driving when she came to Mayberry
Then I noticed when Andy was taking Annabelle Silbey into the courthouse he has the baseball mitt in his hand as he opens the door. When he walks through the door, the mitt is gone. He should show that trick to Mr. Dave when he comes to Mayberry. Making a baseball mitt disappear has got to be much harder to do than a little quarter. Kenneth G.
