As a trained noticer, I was suprised to see something the other night which was not ever shown again. It was the episode where Barney is looking for the runaway kid named George Folley - who was actually at the Taylor house. He drives up in a big rush in an old early 50s Ford car and parks behind the squad car. Then, during the epilogue, Andy says to Opie "lets push Barney's car in front of the fireplug and I'll write him a ticket." It is the same old Ford. And of course, in the later episode "Barney's new car", Barney says he is buying his first car. I have never noticed that discrepancy before. Interesting that the car Hubcaps Lesch sold him was a very similar model.
